I’m Erica.

I am a Nurse Practitioner with over 27 years of nursing experience, grounded in a Master of Science in Nursing and nearly two decades of practice in the Emergency Department. That foundation shaped my clinical judgment, precision, and deep commitment to patient safety principles that continue to guide every aspect of my work today.

Drawn to the artistry and science of medical aesthetics, I pursued advanced training as a professional nurse injector, creating a natural transition into a field where I could blend technical expertise with creativity. It has been incredibly rewarding to help patients achieve refined, natural results that enhance both confidence and overall well-being.

In 2019, I founded The Shine Practice in Silverton, Oregon, bringing elevated, patient-centered aesthetic care to a community I deeply value. My approach is rooted in a comprehensive understanding of facial anatomy, enabling me to deliver natural, safe results. Above all, patient safety remains my highest priority.

In addition to aesthetics, I am deeply passionate about medically assisted weight loss. This work is especially meaningful to me, as it has been personally life-changing and has transformed the lives of hundreds of our patients. Supporting individuals on their journey to improved health, confidence, and vitality is one of the most rewarding aspects of my practice.

Outside of my work, I cherish time with my husband, Jeff, a Salem Fire Captain, and our three daughters. You’ll often find us traveling together, whether soaking up the beauty of Kauai, enjoying long days on Shasta Lake, or simply being out on the boat in the sunshine. I also have a love for vintage linens, drawn to their history, craftsmanship, and timeless charm.

I truly look forward to meeting you and thoughtfully designing a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals, lifestyle, and budget, helping you feel confident, refreshed, healthy, and like the very best version of yourself.
